Barkers Dog Boutique started in 2009 with the goal to provide high quality, durable products to the families of medium and large breed dogs.  The journey began with my dog, Bubba, a medium sized mutt with a heart of gold that barked at anything outside the window.  As time went on, my husband and I, decided to get another dog, who we named Izzy.  Izzy, a Doberman, LOVES her chew toys and from day one we were made well aware of it.  At times it would be a matter of minutes before she had completely destroyed one.  As a mother to a large breed pup, I found it difficult to find unique, quality and durable items in the retail stores.  Frustrated, I figured I wasn't the only mother who felt this way.  This led to the idea of having a “one stop shop” for medium to large dog owners in need of durable, high-quality products. 

The search and testing of products began in July 2009, and of course Bubba and Izzy were happy to be of assistance in the testing department, as well as other dogs of family and friends who have had the same problems.  We began with durable toys, but quickly realized there was a need for high-quality products, such as: treats, collars, leads, bowls, ID Tags, etc..  We spent an entire 6 months testing different product lines at Barkers Dog Boutique and rest assure all of our  products are checked for their quality and durability before they are listed on the website to ensure our customer’s satisfaction, because we want you to have the best just like our family.

As we continue to find innovative quality products we feel confident about, we will update them to the website.  Don’t see what you want? Just ask and we’ll be happy to special order it for you if we can.
